Hip Dysplasia and PennHip Screening

Hip Dysplasia is the most commonly inherited, orthopaedic condition in dogs, causing chronic pain. It is generally more severe in large dogs than smaller dogs, and results in hip arthritis causing pain, stiffness and unhappiness.

PennHip screening is the most accurate method for diagnosing hip dysplasia. It can be performed from 16 weeks of age, which is 8 months earlier than other methods. We are certified to perform this screening.

If you would like a PennHip brochure emailed to you please let one of our staff know & we'll get one straight out to you.
